An Evening in Bethlehem

You’re invited to a unique and immersive Christmas event for the whole family!
Stroll through a re-creation of first-century Bethlehem on the night Jesus was born, exploring the marketplace, the synagogue, and the stables, and talk with actors portraying villagers, shepherds, and shopkeepers. Make some fun artwork and crafts to take home as you experience the Nativity like never before!

This FREE, fun, interactive indoor experience for all ages takes about 30 minutes to walk through. Plan to arrive between 6:30 and 9:00 pm on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14.

Is there an admission fee?
This event is totally free!

What ages of children is this event appropriate for?
All ages! There is plenty of room to push a stroller through the experience and it’s for everyone from toddlers to teenagers to adults.

When does it start? How long is the program?
This event is a recreation of the streets of first-century city of Bethlehem and is filled with actors portraying townspeople. You get to walk through at your own pace and interact with as many of them as you’d like. There are fun activity stations throughout the exhibit. It typically takes about 30 minutes to go through the whole thing, depending on how long you want to linger at each station.

We start at 6:30 so you could start walking through the exhibit as early as 6:30, and you should arrive no later than 9:00 because we close up at 9:30.

What should I wear?
This exhibit is indoors, so you did not need warm winter gear. Come as you are, no need to dress up.

Is this event wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Everything is on one level and everything is wheelchair accessible.
